Marketing Manager Commerzial

Build the marketing foundation. Turn expertise into content. Drive account-based growth.

Commerzial helps international B2B-companies achieve commercial excellence through sales strategy, processes and people.
Commerzial aims to strengthen its position as a trustworthy strategic advisor to commercial leaders, helping them turn business strategy into commercial progress.
As the new Marketing Manager, you’ll support this ambition through a clearer market voice and focused account-based marketing (ABM).
Ready to own the marketing plan and turn it into action?

Your role
You’ll shape the marketing direction and turn it into a focused plan and hands-on delivery. Working closely with the partners and consultants, you’ll connect business priorities with marketing decisions and draw on external specialists for branding, technical setup and larger productions.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Shape the marketing strategy in close collaboration with the partners and own the marketing plan and budget, setting priorities and measurable objectives aligned with business goals.

  • Define and run Commerzial’s account-based marketing approach, using customer insights and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to guide segmentation, engagement, lead generation and nurturing across new and existing accounts, and use data to continuously improve results.

  • Lead content and messaging strategy, planning and production, shaping an editorial calendar and turning consultants’ expertise into compelling articles, case studies, webinars and other content.

  • Strengthen Commerzial’s digital presence, from website and SEO to LinkedIn, across the company page and consultants’ own profiles.

  • Equip consultants with a sales content library and templates that are easy to use and give their deliverables a consistent, professional look.

  • Drive marketing projects, prospect and customer events, and customer feedback activities.

What success looks like
Within your first six months, you will have translated business goals into clear marketing priorities and established the ABM approach, running in a reliable rhythm, closely aligned with sales. Commerzial’s content, website and LinkedIn will reflect Commerzial’s strategy and services, and client projects will regularly become strong case studies. Consultants will have consistent, useful sales materials, and colleagues will know what marketing contributes.

What you bring
You are an experienced marketer who has owned the full marketing setup in a B2B company with fewer than 50 people.

You bring:

  • Strong commercial understanding and experience in developing B2B marketing plans and budgets.

  • Experience in defining and executing an ABM plan in close alignment with sales.

  • Proven ability to run marketing projects hands-on and end-to-end, engaging colleagues, vendors and stakeholders along the way.

  • Experience in content and messaging strategy, with strong writing skills and the ability to turn specialist knowledge into customer-relevant content.

  • Native or full professional English proficiency.

Ideally, you also bring:

  • Confidence in managing a company’s digital presence and using marketing platforms and AI tools.

  • Experience in taking content all the way to final layout in existing templates and the CMS, and in editing simple videos.

  • Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to create clear, professional presentations and templates.

  • Experience in a consultancy or similar professional services business.

How you work
Curiosity about the business and its customers comes naturally to you, as does building relationships and turning ideas into action.
Hands-on and operational at heart, you bring structure, prioritise confidently, take initiative and follow through. A “let’s try it out” approach to marketing platforms and AI helps you accelerate and professionalise your work.
Your professional confidence allows you to engage and challenge management and colleagues and explain your recommendations, while working constructively with internal and external contributors.
Taking ownership, getting things done and bringing a sense of humour to the team are all part of how you work.
